NABA President Rev. John Bio Asante

The Reverend John Bio Asante serves as the 5th President of the North American Baptist Association of the Ghana Baptist Convention (NABA).

The association currently has 21 Ghanaian Baptist Churches in the United States of America and Canada. He was one of the founding members of this association and has since held many executive positions before becoming its President in July, 2021.

Rev. John Bio Asante is also the Lead Pastor of New Creation Baptist Church, Millbury Massachusetts USA. He was one of the founding members of this church and has pastored it since its inception in April, 2004.

Rev John Bio Asante was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church, Mim Ahafo,Ghana, and a Deacon in Grace Baptist Church, Amakom Kumasi for several years, before moving to the United States.

Rev. John Bio Asante is an ordained minister of the Ghana Baptist Convention, and a recognized minister of both the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts (TABCOM) and the American Baptist churches USA (ABCUSA). He serves on the Board of Directors of the Conference of Baptist Ministers, Massachusetts (CBMM).

Rev. John Bio Asante holds a MDiv (cum laude) from Bethel Seminary St. Paul, Manisota. He also holds a Dip. Mech. Eng.,from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.
Rev. John Bio Asante is married to his beautiful wife Sussana Bio-Nyarko, with four grown up children and 9 grandchildren.
